Itineraries

Day 1

Date : December 20, 2024

Time : 4:00 am

AM: Transfer-In from Baltra airport (GPS) to Puerto Ayora with Santa Cruz Highland tour

Upon arrival at BALTRA, the adventure will begin in the beautiful Galapagos Islands with our team waiting outside the airport to help you with your transfer to Puerto Ayora.

For this, we will take the local transportation “bus lobito” that will take us from Seymour airport (Baltra) to the Itabaca Canal.
At this point we recommend you prepare your cameras to capture this beautiful encounter with one of the most beautiful postcards of the Galapagos.

Once in the Itabaca Channel, we will take a barge that will cross us in a 15-minute journey to Santa Cruz Island. There our private transportation will be waiting for us to tour the first areas of the upper part of the Island.

We will go to the Santa Rosa parish, where we will visit one of the most famous lava tunnels and we will also make a stop at the Giant Tortoise Reserve to surprise ourselves by observing them in their natural habitat.
Afterwards we will enjoy a delicious welcome lunch.

After this short break, we will continue the journey to Puerto Ayora, where we will check in at your accommodation so that you can rest from the long trip and enjoy the comforts of our hotel.

Day 2

Date : December 21, 2024

Time : 8:00 am

San Cristobal: El Junco + Puerto Chino

This day, San Cristobal, will be your destiny.

The day will begin at 06:00, the time at which we will begin the transfer from Santa Cruz to San Cristobal.

After approximately 2 and a half hours of travel, once in San Cristobal, we will visit a beach located at the end of the road that goes from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno (24 km from the city) via El Progreso to the southwest of San Cristóbal.
To get here, our team will board a private transport and tour the upper part of San Cristobal in a 40-minute journey.

Before reaching Puerto Chino beach, our first stop will be to visit Laguna El Junco, where you will take a short walk to see the only freshwater lagoon that adorns this beautiful island.
Later, you will visit Puerto Chino Beach, to get here, we will abandon our private transportation and take a short walk to enjoy one of the most special virgin beaches in the Galapagos, the perfect place to rest, the color of the sea is turquoise, the sand is white, although to the west and east of the beach there are rocks.
There you can see a hill near the beach that is shaped like a Chinese hat, hence the name of the beach.

After our visit, we will board our transportation again to go to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno where we can walk through its beautiful streets for a few minutes before returning to Santa Cruz, again boarding a comfortable ferry that will take us in a time of 2 hours.

Day 3

Date : December 22, 2024

Time : 8:00 am

Santa Cruz: El Garrapatero + Charles Darwin Reaserch Station

At 8:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel and head to one of the best beaches on Santa Cruz Island... El Garrapatero!

After a 40-minute journey, we will arrive at our destination.
The beach has 3 kilometers of beautiful golden sand, ideal for sunbathing and relaxing with the sound of the sea. Of course, you will share the beach with sea lions and the famous blue-footed boobies. Do you want to know the peculiarities of these animals? We'll find out!

Following the path through the mangroves, we will reach a brackish pool. There we will encounter large flamingos in search of crustaceans. Additionally, they will most likely be accompanied by other wading birds such as herons, stilts and oystercatchers.

To regain strength, we will take a break and have a light lunch consisting of a sandwich, fruit and a soft drink.

We will continue walking along the shore and, in addition to learning everything about the fauna and flora of the place, we will tell you about its history.

After five hours discovering and enjoying the wildlife on the beach, we will head to Puerto Ayora, where we will have lunch and later, we will prepare to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, where we will take a tour along the Turtle Route and visit the mausoleum of our beloved Lonesome George, as well as an interesting tour of the Charles Darwin Foundation museum.

Day 4

Date : December 23, 2024

Time : 8:00 am

Bartolome Island + Sullivan Bay Beach

The tour begins at 7 o'clock with a 45-minute car ride from Puerto Ayora to the Itabaca channel.

From there, at the port we will board the boat where our navigation will begin towards Bartolomé Island, one of the youngest in the Galapagos archipelago.

Once we have arrived at Bartolomé, we will disembark and begin a tour along a path that will take us to the best view of all the Galapagos Islands. We will climb 115 meters above sea level, around 400 steps, but the reward at the top will make it totally worth it. From the top, we can see the famous pinnacle of Galapagos, all of Bartolomé Island and part of Santiago Island. An unparalleled panoramic vision.

After the walk to the top of the viewpoint, and after saving in memory (and the camera) that wonderful image, we will begin to descend to enjoy lunch and later, relax on the north and south beach, where the pinnacle is located. We could observe from the viewpoint. On the south beach we will not be able to swim because it is a protected area as it is a place where turtles nest, however, we will see it and then we will go to the north beach where bathing is allowed and if we are lucky, we will be able to share the bath with Galapagos penguins that They will circulate around.

In North Beach we will do some snorkeling to see different species such as blue sharks, sea lions, fish, rays and turtles.

Here our tour will end and after enjoying a refreshing swim, we will return to Puerto Ayora again.

Day 5

Date : December 24, 2024

Time : 5:00 am

Santa Cruz: Tortuga Bay

NINFAS LAGOON * AND TORTUGA BAY

Santa Cruz, as the tourist center of the Galapagos, has a number of activities to offer, among them and perhaps one of the most famous and spectacular is a visit to TORTUGA BAY beach.

For this reason, after you have enjoyed a delicious breakfast, we will take you on a picturesque walk to discover the path that will take you to one of the virgin beaches of fine white sand considered among the 10 most beautiful in the world, Tortuga Bay!
And before leaving the urban area of ​​Puerto Ayora, we will pass through the fascinating Ninfas lagoon to marvel at the surroundings of this beautiful sea inlet.

After that quick visit, after a 40-minute walk you will enjoy the breeze, beach and sea in Tortuga Bay.

If you like, you will have time kayaking to observe the schools of fish, hopefully blue sharks, some marine iguanas and also turtles. marine swimming around the mangrove. Spending the day on this beautiful beach is one of those memories that you will love to remember for a lifetime.
Then we will return by boat to Puerto Ayora in a 15-minute journey.

We will have lunch and you will have the afternoon free to explore the streets of Santa Cruz or enjoy the benefits of your accommodation.

Day 6

Date : December 24, 2024

Time : 8:00 am

Isabela Island: Islote Tintoreras + Beach and City Tour

We start the tour at 06:45 AM at the Puerto Ayora dock to board the ferry that will take us to Isabela.
Once in the place we will go to the Isabela breeding center and visit the flamingos, we will also know what Tintoreras is where we can snorkel and we can observe the flora and fauna that the place has.
We will have lunch and after the entire tour we will take the ferry again to return to Santa Cruz.
We receive passengers at the dock when the boats from Santa Cruz arrive.

Day 1: Lobito bus transportation from airport to Canal de Itabaca. Barge transportation. Private transportation from the Canal de Itabaca to Puerto Ayora. Entrances to the turtle reserve and lava tunnel. Bilingual naturalist guide. Lunch and soft drinks in the reserve. Hotel acomodattion.

Day 6: Breakfast, private transportation from Puerto Ayora to the Canal de Itabaca, Lobito bus transportation to airport.
