THE AIDA MARIA EXPERIENCE

We believe that the Aida Maria strikes the right balance between an affordable Galapagos cruise and an enjoyable, comfortable and stylish experience. When you get on board, it is striking that the entire boat has been built with local Galapagos woods and that polished wood features prominently in the decoration of the Aida Maria. It has 8 double cabins with traditional style bunk beds. The cabins are decorated in a beautiful light, airy style, and all have a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning and classic porthole windows. The common areas on board have simply stunning polished wood floors and ceilings, but the ship doesn't feel dark because of it. In fact, your living room features large panoramic windows that span the entire length of this deck, flooding it with equatorial light, and providing you with first-class views of the islands while you dine or relax with your companions. Unusually for a ship of this class, the Aida Maria has 2 solariums where you can soak up the Galapagos rays. The upper deck offers beautiful views and has an awning for shade, but you can also choose to relax on the bow of the main deck - just don't forget your sunscreen. As befits a ship with so much local provenance, the chef uses the freshest ingredients to prepare a wide range of delicious local and regional specialties, as well as a wide variety of international dishes.

The owners of Aida María have used their intimate knowledge of their home to design a variety of magnificent itineraries for you to choose from. Aida María itineraries are among the most flexible in their class in terms of locations visited and duration of the Galapagos cruise - we currently have 6 different options you can choose from to tour the Galapagos! You can even choose to combine your two best itineraries into a 15-day Galapagos cruise. Whatever your choice, you can be sure to see a wide range of the stunning Galapagos wildlife and the remarkable Galapagos Islands. Your onboard naturalist guides are highly experienced locals approved by the National Park and speak English and Spanish. They go out of their way to bring you closer to the wildlife and habitats of the islands, and will be a fascinating source of information during your trip.
