Born in the Galapagos, his love for the archipelago led him to graduate as a tourism specialist and worked for around 16 years as a Galapagos travel agent with deals for first-class travelers before moving on to work as a full-time cruise and daily tour guide and of course, to the managgement positions of Parallel 0'. 
After founding Parallel 0' Tours, during the last 5 years, Xavier has scheduled hundreds of trips for travelers from all over the world interested in Galapagos and has guided hundreds more working for some of the biggest names in cruises in the Galapagos archipelago. 
His motto is to make anyone's trip to Galapagos an "unparalleled experience".
